Fruition's Madagascar Sambirano 74% Dark Chocolate Bar is fruit-forward and feels both complex and playful on the palate. Enjoy top notes of raspberries and citrus and a grounding, deep chocolate finish. The cacao beans come from Swedish chocolate maker Bertil Akesson's plantation in the Sambirano Valley of Northern Madagascar where his family has lived and grown superior quality cacao in the most ethical and sustainable way for more than 50 years. Many makers that I feature at Barometer Chocolate have referred to Akesson's Sambirano Valley Madagascan cacao as "hands down some of the best and most consistent in the world."
