Mikkel Friis-Holm is a cook who has worked for and with some of the best chefs in Denmark and San Francisco. He is known for sourcing food products of the finest quality and is a proponent of the slow food movement. Once a distributor for the famous chocolate company, Scharffen Berger, Mikkel started producing his own superior chocolate with fine flavor beans from Nicaragua and Honduras in 2008. He is considered one of the best chocolate makers in the world and is widely known for his ground-breaking chocolate craftsmanship. Friis Holm focuses on uncompromising, no-frills craft in order to create sophisticated and unique chocolate for the quality-conscious consumer.
