Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé

Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé was created in Budapest by husband and wife team Zsolt Szabad and Katalin Csiszar in 2004 . Before becoming chocolate makers, Zsolt was a mechanical engineer and Katalin was a graphic designer. A wide and diverse collection of skills enable them to produce their superbly crafted, gorgeous bars of chocolate and treats. In Hungarian, the word rózsavölgyi means "rose valley" which conjures up an appealing image of lush beauty and fragrant scents. This is quite fitting because each of their aromatic, creamy and full-bodied bars is covered in award-winning, thick and luxurious wrapping paper, featuring traditional Hungarian motifs. It is probably the prettiest packaging in the world of fine craft chocolate. The square shaped bars are molded to resemble intricate antique fireplace tiles.

Using only the highest quality ingredients, Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé engages in traditional European chocolate-making with a modern point of view. Their award-winning single origin bars and treats will truly delight to each one of your senses.

If you can’t make it to their GORGEOUS shop in the Párisi Udvar Hotel in Budapest, shown here, Barometer Chocolate is the next best thing!
