If you know me, you know that my taste in chocolate leans dark. Most of the time I find milk chocolate too sweet and lacking in depth of flavor. When I sampled these cocoa bean-shaped snacking pieces, I was happily surprised by how delicious I found them! Made with fine flavor Madagascan beans which have tasting notes of cherries and red berries, this dairy-free milk chocolate is layered and luscious! At 46% cacao, the chocolate strikes the perfect balance between sweet and complex. The texture is lovely and smooth with a rich and satisfying melt. The finely ground almonds lends a marzipan note which I find absolutely yummy. The chocolate is so velvety as it melts because the almonds are refined to the same particle size as the cocoa beans. Honestly, I have never before stocked a vegan milk chocolate because I could never find one that I thought was exceptional in both flavor and texture. I finally found one!

These snacking pieces come in little bags tied with a ribbon, 8 pieces per bag, which is one ounce. When you indicate the quantity you would like, a quantity of 1 is equivalent to a 1-oz bag. 2 oz fit very nicely in a larger bag, and that is 16 pieces.
