However, I think I might have found a favorite bar, and I would say plenty of my customers who’ve tried it agree with my assessment. One of my longtime customers called it “spectacular” and that is not a word she throws around lightly. She described it well saying it has “a very deep and pure chocolate flavor.” I’d also like to add that the mouthfeel is indulgently creamy and as it melts, I find myself in a state of pure bliss and Chocolate Nirvana. Do with this information what you will!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTasting Notes: rich  chocolate, cream, malt, dates and a hint of fig. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGuasare cacao is a criollo bean that was discovered by agronomist Humberto Reyes on a small farm in Sierra de Perija near the Colombian border. The seeds were cultivated and thrived at a research center in the Andes. Some criollos are very difficult to grow as they often succumb to disease and may bear few pods. This delicious varietal, on the other hand,  proved to be hardy. The Soma Guasare bar is made from cacao grown on 4 multi-crop farms interspersed with bananas and coffee in the region of Rosario, West of Lake Maracaibo.
